At the center is the Long-nosed Horned Frog (Pelobatrachus nasutus), a master of camouflage that disappears into the fallen leaves. Above it stands the Red Meranti (Shorea parvifolia), a towering tree whose broad canopy shapes the very conditions the frog depends on—shade, moisture, and the constant rain of leaf litter.
